3620 doesn't keep register value.

After reloaded my 3620 often shows me a register value different from default

0x2102 (sometimes 0x1). If I reboot it goes to ROMmon. Then I must set config parameters to boot helper mode. Is a there a way to set it definitively to 0x2102 or to set boot mode to "boot helper". I'm getting crazy. Before I wondered why my 3620 had been going always to ROMmon. Now I'm able to get it working fine (after set both conf reg to 0x2102 or boot feature to boot helper), but I would not to set those parameters any more.

Could anyone help me?

Thanks,

Alex.

config terminal config-reg 0x2102 end write memory

PS Thanks anyway.

Do you have any "boot system" commands? Take it out, maybe it's misspelled? Do you have anything on your flash?

Also, after you change the config register do a "show hardware", it should tell you that its 0x2142 (will be 0x2012 at next boot) or something to that affect. Can you post a "dir flash:"
