DSL connection without phone voice service

Is it able to get only DSL connection service without voice service phone number plan?

What you want is commonly referred to as "naked DSL." Besides Speakeasy, Covad used to offer it through various ISPs, but I'm not sure if they're still in that market anymore.

I believe at least one regional Bell made headlines with plans to offer it, but I can't recall which at the moment.
