If I use xp firewall, do I need to use my router's firewall?

I have the xp firewall enabled, so do I need to use the router's built in firewall for my wireless network?

Yes, you should still use your router's firewall. The router's firewall is designed to protect your entire network, while the XP firewall only protects an individual PC.

You need to enable the router's protection abilities including its FW. You can use a personal FW behind the router if you like but you need to enable the router's FW to protect the network.Again, get on the phone with the router's tech support and let them help you.
