Telephone RJ-11 adapter for Headset Mic?

I have a headset microphone with two 3.5 mm input/output mini-plugs (or two 1/4" (6.3 mm) phone plug adapters). Is there any way at all that I could use this with a regular phone (RJ-11)?

Thanks, Brian

How about without having to go through the PC?

Check the "Telephone Headgear" link at

It looks promising. I have not tried that.

Other way to do conversion could be to take a telephone that has a removable cord between the handset and base unit. Then make a small adapter from headset connector to headset. Somethign like what is done at

There are differences in the implementations of handset interface from base unit to handset in different telephones.
