Has anyone here had any experince with this panel? I am having problems direct connecting to the panel with compass via the rs232 board? the instructions are very straight forward but am still having problems establishing a connection Honeywell's tech support could not resolve my issues. I have even tried 2 different computers.
I've done it with a direct connection. Laptop > hayes smartmodem 2400> Tip & Ring on panel. Didn't have Rs232 board though so never tried that.
Try reversing Pin 2 & 3 on one end of the connector.. Rx/Tx maybe be getting a null modem conflict
