Router log.

Hi all,

I set up the "login local" also for the console. All of you know that sending a break command at the boot you can enter the ROMMON and there you can have access to the configuration file.

Is there a way to avoid that or at least to know when anyone has had access to the router (are there any logs???)

TIA

Alex.

Good! So no one won't have a look inside without erasing everything.

But what about routers already configured? Do they log if someone has sent a break signal so the manager can suspect someone accessed the config file?

well in order to send a break signal they would have had to repower the router.

You can certainly tell when each router was last reloaded. If there are nay unexplained reloads then in essence you have a "log" of that event
