You must have missed the private response. If you have a TD system, go to the phone attached to jack 1 (usually extension 101) and press Program *#1234. If the display says "enter Program Code" or similar, you are in programming. If it doesn't, then you better find the manager's phone or the right password.

Dial 000 and press SP PHONE. Your display will have the date. Press (maybe) Auto Ans and it may step to the time. Dial the correct hour, use FWD to step to the minutes (CONF and FWD go forward and back and AUTO ANS changes AM/PM). When you have the correct time, press STORE and PROGRAM and you're done.
