That one is easy. Split the system into two partitions. Come back when you know enough about Napco to ask a challenging question.

I went to high school on 59th near Lex, right around the corner from Bloomie's. After school each day a bunch of us would take the subway down to St. Mark's and hang out on the Lower East Side.

My first apartment was on 10th between 1st and A. That was in the late 60's. There were about 10 people sharing the place plus a few dozen friends who'd come in on weekends. The last place I had in Manhattan was on 14th St, across from The Dom nightclub, same era.

I lived and worked in NYC for a while in the mid 70s. The last place I worked before leaving NY forever was 350 Fifth Avenue. You probably know the place. :^)

No I'm broke live most everyone else these days. Lofts were pretty cheap back then, this was back in the early 70's...loft living was just beginning. We had 2000 sq ft...the entire 3rd floor.

It wasn't even borderline in those days. There was a lot of violent crime. Do you remember the rich socialite girl from Greenwich, CT who was killed with her boyfriend down there in

1968? It made national headlines because her family was politically connected. They were friends of mine; sometimes stayed in our apartment.

I've never been in McSorley's but I knew the Dom, Electric Circus, Filmore East and a few other music/dance places well. There was a really weird club called The Cave on 11th or 12th and Ave A. Ever been there?

Another strange hangout in the Village was the Diggers' Free Store where everything was free. People just brought stuff they didn't need and left it, sometimes taking something else that they did need. The street kids would come in all the time and we'd feed them. If you'd met me then you would never have guessed that I'd be running an alarm company decades later. :^)

It's all a matter of timing. A cousin of mine bought a loft in Soho about 25-30 years ago for ~$20,000. He sold it recently for about $1.5M.

Another cousin, actually my second cousin, Howard received a substantial gift from his dad when he graduated college many years ago. He was a loner -- only wanted a place where no one would bother him. He took the money, found an obscure little town in Colorado and bought up land on both sides of the street. There he stayed. Perhaps you've heard of that little town. It's called Aspen. :^)

Some people have all the luck.
