I'd suspect,..... that no one actually cares why.
After loosing a board I found a way to replace the EEPROM and reflash the default setting from the CPU. Board and fees are lost and never an answer to email or telephone. Check was cashed. Perhaps only certain people deserve this service?
What are you trying to say happened or didn't happen? There is no history I can follow. I don't understand your point.
