Ok - should have done my homework, instead, I bought from ebay a used (duh) SOnicWall and it came without the cdrom... I want to reset and flash the ROM to reconfigure for my Home Network.
Can anyone tell me where I can lay my hands on the Firmware file? I've contacted SonicWall and am awaiting a response.
I know they are no longer updating the firmware but I would at least like to get this thing online and running.
Eddie, I also bought a SOHO from eBay and I've already been through this. You can download all your software from SOHO's sight except you need to do a few things before you can download your files:

What you need to do is to transfer the ownership of your appliance from the previous owner to you. Then, this will allow you to enter SOHO's support pages with all the downloads for your specific appliance. So here's the steps you need to take:
Go to SOHO's site, and register your name and serial number of your product. This will get you access to the "Change of ownership" application.
Fax the application to the number listed with a photo copy of the bottom of the appliance with the serial #. You also need to fill out the seller's name and have him sign it.... I forged his signiture( big woop). Also, fax a copy of the sale reciept (mine was the ebay invoice with his and my names).
In a few days, you then get a support email saying the tranfer was completed. When you log back into SOHO's site, you'll have a bunch of other links for your appliance.
I have an account on SOHO's site. I can't download your files because I don't have access to the software for you appliance. You only get access to downloads only for what you register. Fax away.
Ok I have full ownership and am recognized by SonicWall. I d/l the latest ROM file and configured the firewall.
It's fine with all I have are just PC's but I am also running two servers that I to have access through the internet... however... it seems that my web server and email server are blocked, if I port them through, then my client machines email clients are blocked.
