WIC-1DSU-T1-V2 in a 2600?

Hey all,

Has anyone ever got a V2 card to be recognised in a plain ole 2600 (ie 2610,

11, 20 21)....not a XM? The hardware/software configurator says it's OK. I tried every version of code that it says it's support by, just comes back saying unrecognixed card 0x52 in slot blah. This is multiple cards too from all dfferent lot numbers, so it's not a physical wic issue. Pop it in a 2691 or 3640 and it comes right up.

If you have, can you post a ver ver please?

Thanks,

-Brian

No, it won't work. If the hardware configurator says its OK, its wrong.

There's no version of IOS for the 2600 that supports the WIC-1DSU-T1-V2.

You need the V1 card no-matter-what unless you have the XM model.

Don't know why, they still released code revs for this EOLd box after they did the V2 card, and they EOL'd the V1 card too. :( Means you have to buy used/gray market stuff if you need a new card.
