does WIC-4ESW work in 2600's ?

I know that the WIC-4ESW was designed for 1700's, so I'm wondering if anyone knows if it will work in a 2600?

The WIC-4ESW was designed specifically for the 1700 and is not supported on the 2600. The HWIC-4ESW will work in any HWIC slot on 1800, 2800, and 3800 series routers.

On a somewhat related topic do you know if it will work on a 1720? Most of the documentation seems to indicate 1711/1721/1751/1760/ Thanks
