I just read that daylight saving time will be three weeks earlier now. How will the panels handle this. I have a napco Gemini at home and the keypad shows time on it. I assume there must be some software update to correct this.

Steven,
You can reprogram the start/stop dates for DST on the Gemini systems. They're among the few panels that allow you to make the change. Others hard code it in the firmware.
Using the Napco Quickloadr program (contact me if you need it), click on the "Panel Selection" icon and select the "Time Zone-DST" tab. There you can select the week, day, month and time for start and stop daylight savings.

No problem.

unless you have automatic scheduling [arming and disarming] it won't make much difference if the time in the panel is off for a few weeks.
It does if you are looking at the event buffer
If you remember that the time is different during DST it still won't make a difference. One problem with Napco is the clock isn't very precise so the log should be compared to a known event such as a monitored signal.
and you know it's off 1 hour while you are looking at it so it doesn't really make a hill of beans.
