I have a dsc 864 with 4 wire smoke detectors and no phone line yet. I would like to know have to disable the phone line detection and error I am getting.
Also I would like to be able to reset the 4 wire smoke detectors after I test them. The manual said to press *72. That doesn't work I get an error something like function is not available.

You must program your system. Read page 4 of the programming manual to activate the *72 function to reset your four wire smokes. On page 7, "015 Third System Option Code", it gives you the means to turn "off" TLM. If you don't have the manual, email me and I'll send you one in "PDF" format.
