autodial prefix "9" on analog 500 TN

We are trying to avoid dialing 9 to get us external on a few analog sets on our M1 61C Succession 4.5.

Anyone have any tips as to how to do that?

Besides avoiding the dial 9, do you want them to be able to dial any phone number? Do they still need to be able to dial internal stations?

Its actually for an out going modem bank that hangs off a server. The DN's will only be dialling external numbers.

The issue we have is the application that does the calling only allows you to set a global 9 or no 9. We use 2 different modem cards in that server. 1 has 8 ports feed from 8 analog lines from our 61c and the other has a T1 feed directly to the modem card and does not go through our PBX.
