Try uninstalling and then reinstalling... may help it out.. just a thought.
Sygate clashes

I have Win XP with SP2 and have used Sygate Personal Firewall (free) before on other computers successfully but now when I install it on my laptop I get problems where when I boot up I get messages from Sygate "Sygate Agent Firewall has encountered a problem and needs to close" and "Dr Watson Postmortem has encountered a problem and needs to close" at which point the OS stops running and I have to powerdown. I have turned of XP firewall. I have tried to get help from Sygate forums but no help. Any ideas? Thanks
