Home network shares printer & files UNTIL a reboot

Using Norton Firewall 2004 on WinXP machines. I have set both PC's IP address in the Trusted Zone.

All works fine until one or both PC's are rebooted. Then in order to reestablish file and printer sharing, I have to unplug DSL from router, disable both firewalls, do a print job, and access files on the other PC. THEN I can enable both firewalls, go back onto DSL and every thing works fine for months.

I frequently do Live Update, Win Critical updates (sp2, etc.)

If it's set up and working, why won't it be that way after a reboot?

Thanks for any ideas!
