While using a Sonicwall TZ170 downloads of multiple FTP files or multiple email messages get interrupted.
As soon as we swap in the old Linksys router the problem is gone.
We have been round and round with Tech Support on this. Tried all kinds of MTU, SYN Flood disable, create rule/delete rule, Fragmented Packets, disable Gateway Antivirus etc.
Any ideas?

I don't know if you can re-flash the device with the current version of the firmware being used on the device like you can with a Linksys for free. I have seen a few posts where re-flashing a device with the firmware fixed issues. One that keeps popping up with the Linksys is that machines behind them couldn't access some sites and no problems with other sites. The router was re-flashed and that fixed the problem. Maybe, it's something similar in your case as well. I don't see why you couldn't have a bad install of the firmware out of the box.
