Just curious - how do you think this inbuilt firewall compares to, say, zonealarm free. I am mainly interested in terms of security rather than useability.
For a short period I am using it on a temporary windows gateway until I get new linux gateway with iptables.

It's no better or worse than any other solution that blocks incoming events. It has no blocking for outgoing events like ZoneAlarm though.
