config ipcop firewall

I installed ipcop on an old pc. The lan nic is working, I can get an ip address and log in to ipcop. I can't get the wan side working. I have it set to get it's ip from dhcp but it's not getting an ip so I get no connection to the internet... Any idea's as to what to look for to correct this??
