Hacking Firmware

Is it possible to hacking firmware of a wireless Linksys router to make it send the WEP key to an email?? Thanks!

Possible? Sometimes. Legal? Not especially often.

It's not clear that it's worth the bother, considering that it's not especially difficult to crack a WEP key if you are within range of the device.
