Yeah, there were some model(s) that ac tually had the GPL license notice in the manual.
I can't remember if it _was_ Linksys for sure, but I _do_ remeber reading about accessing a console prompt under the guise of executing a system ping to verify network connectivity whilst configuring, presumably. Once the console prompt was accessed, it was no challenge executing a "ls -a" to verify operation system under the hood.
