I am implementing my to router 7200 so that it works with ssh, but I am having the following problem:
Router(config)#cry key generate rsa ^ % Invalid input detected AT ' ^ ' to marker.
I am using Version 12.2(1r). What is the problem??????

Not all IOS images support SSH.
Suggest you use SSH version 2
Try 12.3(14)T3 image c7200-ik9s-mz.12.3-14.T3
You need 3DES software (K9). What is the file name? (example c7200-ik9s-mz.122-31.bin is ssh capable)

the file name is c7200-js-mz.122-15.T17.bin
You have feature set ENTERPRISE (c7200-js-mz.122-15.T17.bin). You need feature set ENTERPRISE IPSEC 3DES (c7200-jk9s-mz.122-15.T17.bin) Then SSH works.
