saving configuration

Nov 14, 2005 2 Replies

Hi, I have remote access through reverse telnet to some lab and one problem occurs. When I'm trying to execute command 'copy start run' the following error appears:

copy start run Destination filename [running-config]?

ip ssh break-string ^ % Invalid input detected at '^' marker.

Do anyone know what is a problem? Maybe I have no permission to use this command? Thanks for any help. Regards, Andrew

The start-up config was probably written with an IOS that supported ssh. Your current IOS appears not to support ssh. Did you downgrade IOS lately?

I have only access to lab, but I will ask admin what is wrong - probably there could be even bug in the IOS. Thanks for help.
