Manually Removing the Cisco MSI VPN Client
Removing the Cisco Virtual Adapter
VAInstaller r CS_VirtA
If the above command failed to remove Virtual Adapter, do the following:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\CVirtA
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class \{4D36E972-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002bE10318} This is the Network adapters part of the registry. Under this you will see keys named "0001 0002 ...." and so on. If you look at each key you will find a "Cisco Systems VPN Adapter".
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Network \{4D36E972-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}\Descriptions
There may be others. Search through your registry for "VPN Adapter" and "cvirta" and you should catch everything. You should try to use the vainstaller to do the work but as a last resort go through the registry.
