I want to set up a small ISP system for demonstration purposes. As NAS I have a Cisco 7200 router. Because I don't have any real dial in hardware I thought about simulating DSL dial in by simply connecting a laptop as pppoe client to a Cisco ethernet port. The laptop should be configured as if it is connected to a normal DSL modem. As I'm a newbie in Cisco configuration, I'd like to ask two things:
- Is it possible at all to set up the c7200 to serve the pppoe directly without the DLSAM ... in the dialin network?
- If yes, how can it be done?
Thanks in advance Hanspeter
