Hi! is there a IOS version for Cisco 2500 with 3DES VPN support? Actually single DES would be acceptable as this is only for lab demonstration.

I can't remember 3DES, but there are definitely IOS releases for the
2500 which support single DES VPNs. Use the feature navigator on

to find them. Just be careful that the IOS releases match at both ends... I've experienced IPsec configurations which won't work between 12.2 and 12.3 IOSes even though they work fine
12.2 to 12.2 and 12.3 to 12.3.

The 2500 is way too slow to do 3DES.
The image c2500-ik8s-l.12.2-28 is IP+, IPSec/56bit DES.
Yes to DES, no to 3DES.
