You could use the built in L2TP client in Vista. With the appropriate configuration the PIX will support it.

Cisco isn't making a 64-bit IPsec VPN client for any platform. They only support AnyConnect VPN on 64-bit Vista. (ie. SSL VPN supported on the ASA boxes). You can tunnel a wide range of ports through SSL VPN, but still...

I believe AnyConnect VPN will try to first connect via IPsec and then attempt the connection via SSL if IPsec fails. However, as Doug pointed out, it does not work on a PIX VPN. Cisco announced End of Life for the PIX appliance last year...meaning it's time to fish out more $$ to upgrade your Cisco equipment. If you're interested, we've been using and have had a fabulous experience with an SSL VPN from NeoAccel. They are a startup so not many people have heard of them.

You could use the Cisco client and it will work just fine.

On 64-bit Vista or 64-bit WinXP???? Have you tried this?

Fortinet's 64-bit VPN client does work on 64-bit WinXP/Vista, but thats not quite Cisco.. :)
