Catalyst 2950 Standard vs Enhanced Image

Hi

I have the same IOS version in flash on two 2950 switches but a show version output on each shows one as running a Standard Image and the other the Enhanced Image. The output is below. Any ideas why this would be?

Thanks

The hardware is different.

IIRC some hardware "uses" Standard and others Enhanced.

You have 2 different model switches. Ones a 2950-24 the other is a 2950C-24.

Thanks

I knew that one had fibre ports and the other didn't but I presumed that this was only a hardware feature and would still allow each of them to run the enhanced image if they both had the same IOS installed. Seems not, thanks anyway.
