Max the RAM to 256 and you *might* be able to run BGP, you would have to test it. I would NOT run IPSec and firewall and BGP at the time. The

2611XM is pretty low end and all of these processes are pretty CPU intensive. A 3660, 3725 or 3745 would be a more suitable platform. The 3640 and 3620 are as feeble as the 2600XM series.

Simply originate it and it will work (if your neighbour's policy accept a prefix that long).

what mechanisim are you using to advertise the route ?

route-maps do not announce routes; they are used to manipulate and/or filter routes

If the router is in your routing table then you can use the BGP network statement to advertise it to your neighbour router bgp nnnnn

network x.x.x.x mask 255.255.255.255

You could control what prefixes are sent using an outbound prefix-filter.
