when i connect adsl router with usb cable to PC , then the router works as simple modem ( bridge ) ?

Yes this is true!

Any ADSL Router is made to connect multiple PCs or computers to the Internet using what so called Single User Account (SUA) and Network Address Translation (NAT).

You can only connect a Modem or Bridge directly to your computer using either USB, Ethernet or serial interface while routers are made for complete network sharing.

PCs ------ Ethernet Switch --------- ADSL Router ------- ADSL Modem

--------- Internet

Keeping in mind that ADSL modem and ADSL router can be found in one device like your case .... I guess.
