Help Me

Aug 15, 2006 1 Replies

I am new to DSL. I came from Dial up. I installed everything yesterday. I get my DSL through my local phone co - Embarq/Sprint. I have tried to connect Blubster (file sharing service) and it will not connect. I have no problem when I connect through Dial up. Any help would be appreciated.

Your best bet would be to check your configuration, (and/or just call your DSL provider) to check to see if there is a firewall blocking less commonly used ports. Most DSL companies advertise their DSL with a free firewall, so this might be the case here. Interesting I got a free firewall with my phone co too, but they don't configure it just have it on!
