DSL values for TV over DSL (DSLAM)

Jul 31, 2006 0 Replies

Hi all!

I'm currently looking for the "optimal" setting for running TV over ADSL2+ and I'm curious to know if any of you have any thoughts/experience on what settings should be used for Noise Margin, INP and Interleaving? My favourite for the moment is NM=7dB, INP=2, interleaving = 8ms.

Any thoughts concerning using FEC on the signal vs INP/Interleaving on the line are also of interest. (Ref WT-126)

Best regards Erik Meltzer
