DSLAM vs. DSL-modem security

Hi,

Where can I find info about DSLAM security.

DSL-modem may have for example firewall, VLAN, DMZ, NAT etc that gives more security to the network, but what kind of security does the DSLAM give?

??

What kind of security does an ethernet switch provide?

Thats about what you are asking.

Once you get the DSL cells back into layer-3 somewhere, that device at the ISP may give some sort of protection, but each ISP has their own security policies.

Nothing happens down at the DSLAM level. Its cell in, cell out. Not much more logic than that.
