can connect to printer through wired but cannot through wireless

I have a linksys befw11s4. 1 wireless printer. 1 wired computer (xp). 1 wireless laptop (vista).

i can access the printer's embedded webpage through IE when hardwired to the router. but cannot access the same embedded webpage when the printer is using wireless connection to the router.

my printer is assigned an ip address when connected either wired or wireless.

192.168.2.102 (wired) / 192.168.2.105 (wireless). but i can't ping the wireless ip.

wireless laptop can access the wireless router and the internet just fine.

how can i get the printer to work wirelessly? is there some setting on my router i need to change? thanks.
