is there a way to acess configuration programing on a northern telecom telephone system after the password has been changed? can the password be reset without defaulting the programing?

Nortel will tell you, but then they'll have to kill you.
It involves faxing something on company letterhead to somewhere in Nortel land. Check with a Nortel dealer or rep. There is a back door.
