Does anyone knows how to connect a keyswitch and what do i have to programm on a napco xp400?

Thanks in advance!

TTBOMK, you can't do it on an XP400. You'd need a more advanced panel for that option.

If it's not an option with the existing equipment, the only way I can see doing that is by using the keyswitch to activate a relay that would bypass the burg zones. It would be fairly simple to do (including a "status" LED), but you may want to consider upgrading the panel to something that allows keyswitch arming/disarming (and be able to transmit the correct report codes).

Sure you can, zone 4 can be set up for keyswitch and enable it by turning on light 1 in section 26

Thanks. On further inspection, I find the following in the installation manual:

"Arming/Disarming with a Keyswitch - The system can be armed/disarmed by using a momentary Keyswitch wired to Zone 4. Program Keyfob/Keyswitch Chirp [23-4] for an audible indication of system arming and disarming..."

and

"[26]Miscellaneous Features 2 - (1) Momentary Keyswitch Arming - Typically, connect a normally-open Keyswitch across the zone AND its 3.3K zone-doubling resistor."

The latter is in the programming area and confirms Mr. Leuck's post. I never installed any of their Express series panels. Our standards were the P9600, P3200 and the Magnum 3000.

Yap!

Finally i test it on the lab and it works great. Zone 4 (3.9K) and 26-1 makes the Xp400 arming and disarming. Thanks boys for the assistance!
