Does anyone one know if there is a rule for not allowing subcontractors to carry out routine inspections in the uk? Some people are telling me it is allowed and other it isn't but noone can give me a reason.

This is a US group. I don't think anyone will know the answer to your question. I do seem to remember that there is a UK group, but I don't remember what it is.
