I've made a design change already, instead of nixi tubes I'm using the rotating plastic "flip" numbers like they had in old alarm clocks, I like my keypads to be noisy and Nixie tubes just don't cut it

Self cleaning; every day at test time we send 220 or 221(whatever it takes) down the line to purge the old electrons out of the system.
