I KNEW there was a valid reason. They're a PITA when trying to use 14/2 Romex for my loops.
Finally! Using a wire gauge with enough amp capacity to thoroughly clean a set of contacts.
I've made a design change already, instead of nixi tubes I'm using the rotating plastic "flip" numbers like they had in old alarm clocks, I like my keypads to be noisy and Nixie tubes just don't cut it
