I'm getting ready to replace an older Napco MA1016e with a newer Ademco Vista 15P panel. Before I remove the Napco, I'd like to set it back to factory defaults. Is there an easy way to do this (I have the installer code)? I can remove all of the values using Napco Quickloader software, but I'm hoping there is an even easier way to do it.
Lastly, what is the default installer code for these old Napco panels?

Nope...the easiest way is to use the software and download a clean file to it.

Create a new "account" with the software. Don't enter any information in it. Download it to the panel.
It's been a while since I worked on a 1016e but ISTR it's 456789, same as several other Napco panels.

No problem. Before you do it, make sure you know what the old settings are. It will save you some work reconstructing the program later.
