ademco 5827 lo batt 00 beeps

Vista 40 system 6139 keypad ademco 5827 keypad.

I'm getting 30" beeps from my 6139 keypad and message lo batt 00. I believe this is referring to a 5827 keypad from which I had removed the battery some days ago because the keypad buttons were not working.

The problem is I want to remove that this keypad permanently from my system. How do I tell the panel to forget about this keypad?

I'm confused also since I was under the impression that the main panel didn't poll these 5827 keypads anyway.

A wireless keypad low battery condition is displayed as "BAT" and "00" on the 5828/5828V keypad.

Just put a battery in it and toss it in a drawer.
