was chasing wiring in a basement in an old building and came across an old ademco 4160-12 never recall seeing one of these panels before any one else remember this panel

Yes, they were used in the mid to late 80's. I have the manuals in case you want to fire up that old dinosaur... :)

Yah, with the 691 prom right? And the heat sink attached to the top of the enclosure if I remember. They make great door stops.
Definately looked like a door stop seemed almost like a napco clone from back then.
