I want to add a second RP3-DGTL keypad to a Napco 816 panel. All I have to do is tie it into the 4-line bus and set the jumpers in the back of the keypad to the second pad? That's it? Thanks!

Nope......... The P816 must be configured to accept the second keypad...... You'll need access to Installer Level programming in the P816 to enable the second keypad.....
go into the keypad programming area and set each additional keypad to be in the area where you want it... ie area 1.
OK thanks. So, the only "hardware" modification I have to do is to properly set the jumpers in Keypad #2. There is no weird keypad combination I have to type-in or some strange jumper on the panel, like the 3200 and 9600 have, right? I can easily go into the PC Loader and add a second keypad to Area 1. Thanks much
