I have a question about QoS Configuration for 5520 Nortel Ethernet switch Does the system still execute the default QoS behaviour for the interfaces that I group as "trusted ports", even if I don't set up a policy for that interface group...so there is only a trusted port group without any association with any policy....Is the QoS on for those ports?

For an trust interface, ERS 5500 assums that all traffic coming into the port is originating from a trusted source. Therefore, the DSCP field of any traffic that enters the ERS 5500 - 48T from a Trusted Port is never marked. Which means, Qos never works at the ports assigned to a trust interface.
