Debug QoS cos & dscp

Hi,

How can I see what QoS flags are set on 802.1q frames and IP packets? I've tried setting up a span port / monitor session and use ethereal but I cannot see all traffic and cannot see any 802.1q carried Cos fields.

Hardware in question: Cisco 2851 generating VoIP traffic (CCME) on which I would like to see what QoS values are set. Cisco 3560 switch (routing). 2851 and 3560 interconnected using 802.1q trunk. Span port assinged to same vlan as used by router to send traffic.

I'm implementing QoS in the WAN and do not see any matches on my policy map that sets the correct DSCP/Cos values for the serial wan link.

Do CCME routers set Cos (3/5) or DSCP (31/46) on outbound traffic by default?

Erik
