I installed TweakMaster Agent which is supposed to optimize internet speed. One of the things it does is write the Ip of domains I visit to the hosts file. I guess this speeds web site rendering.
Anyway, everytime TweakMaster tries to write to my hosts file I get a zone alarms alert that states:
Tweakmaster Agent is trying to change your network settings by modify the file: windrvdir\\etc\\hosts.
My choices are Allow and Deny as usual, what is different is this alert does not have the always allow check box. I went in and pretty much set zone alarm to allow TweakMaster to do whatever it wants and I still get these security pop ups. Anyone familiar enough with zonealarm to tell me what I can do to allow Tweakmaster to write to the hosts file and not get alerts?
