What's the differences betweenrouter contains a built-in switchandrouter without a built-in switch??Some routers even have built-in firewall.I saw many routers in the market has built-in switch, but I don't knowwhy, and what's the advantages?please advise. thanks!!

Most of the managed switches I'm using have an IP address.

Most of the managed switches I'm using are doing that.

And for what I can see, most SOHO routers will do just switching and are managable, if you switch of routing functionality.
