Hello,



i have a problem to configure my 5gt to works with dyndns.com services.



I have entered this configuration :



server type : dyndns server name: dyndns.org refresh interval : 1 min update interval : 1 clear text: x username: username passwoord: ***** agent : -blank- bind to interface ethernet3 (untrust) hostname: domainname.be&system=custom



I receive this error :


2006-04-04 17:51:35 notif Success response received for DDNS entry update for id 12 user "username" domain "domain.be&system=custom" server type "DYN" name "dyndns.org"


2006-04-04 17:51:35 notif DDNS server dyndns.org returned incorrect ip



0.0.0.0, local-ip should be 82.146.104.208

And off course the ip is not renewed.

I have members.dyndns.org, but I don't think that's your problem.

These settings are liable to get you banned for abuse. I recommend:

refresh interval : 670 min update interval : 30

It's a good idea to download and install their certificate - otherwise someone might sniff your credentials.

^^^^^ What is that? The characters '&' and '=' are not valid in a domain name.

I'm guessing the dyndns server accepted your credentials...

... but rejected your domain name.

Thank you for your answer, I will try ... for "&system=custom" , I have received that from the dyndns support but it doesn't work (off course).
