hi,

anyone knows how to disable tcp random sequence on CheckPoint R55 (Windows 2000) box ?

I would image it would be a reg setting. Why would you want to do this?

SmartDashBoard, on the panel with all the rules, check the tabs. You should have one for the policy, one for nat, might be one for desktop security and the last for.... smart defense. This is where you'll find it.

Well, I might understand why he does not want it since Smart Defense is messing up almost all the time for ftp mainly. This is my experience on working of very policies like 350 filtering rules and 150 static/hide NAT entries.
