Will replacing Interface card / NM also copy interface configuration?

Hi friends,



I just wanted to know if replacing a WIC-1T, WIC-2T and NM-4A/S module from one Cisco 2620 router to another 2620 router will cause the interface configuration too to be copied to the running config of destination router?



Also there is an ip route command pointing to the serial interface. Will this be copied too?

If you need to copy the configuration, tftp it to a tftp server, take a copy of that and cut out the parts that do not apply to the new device, and tftp that modified version into the new device.
